Happy NaNoWeen everyone! To most everyone tonight is for kids in costumes clutching pillow cases and seeing who can fill theirs the fastest before the porch lights start going out. But to those of us regular participators in NaNoWriMo it is the start of a month of non-stop writing. A goal of 50,000 new words written entirely in the month of November.

Last year was the first year in six years that I didn’t participate because I was releasing two books at the same time. This year I am in a similar situation, except that I have one I haven’t written yet. Oops.

So, I will be participating in NaNoWriMo this year to get the first draft of Mane Chance (A Soulstealer Novella, Book #2.5) done. Mane and Kit are two of my most favorite characters to write about. Their biggest problem is usually finding a place to bed down between battle scenes.

I mean wouldn’t you want to find a place to bed down this guy…
